Scott Laughlin Joins Saber Seven Board of Directors

New York, NY -- Saber Seven today announced that Scott Laughlin, the inaugural Director of the University of Maryland Venture Accelerator Program and Entrepreneurial Strategist, has joined the Saber seven Board of Directors. Mr. Laughlin is a member of the Advisory Board for the A. James Clark School of Engineering's Technology Advancement Program (TAP), and a Director of First Juice, (organic foods), and Zymetis, (a biotech alternative fuel company.)

“Scott brings to the Board a comprehensive hands-on experience with Internet and Technology start-ups. He understand the spreadsheets and the culture of early stage companies.” said Chris Coyne, CEO of Saber Seven.

Scott has spent almost two decades in technology, communications and entrepreneurship and contributed to several early stage companies, including Zappos.com, TellMe, Xythos Software and iLike. After beginning his career at International Data Group (IDG), Scott helped build LinkExchange, an internet marketing pioneer acquired by Microsoft. Following Microsoft, Scott returned to IDG as a Partner in their venture capital group. Scott received his undergraduate degree in Politics from Princeton University.
